WORKING OFFLINE AND SYNCHRONIZING LATER WHEN NETWORK IS AVAILABLE

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The User must have the priviledge that allows working offline and synchronizing later when network is available
  • The User must enable this feature from his/her User Settings
  • The User should have a recent version of any modern browser such as Chrome,Firefox,Opera,Safari. Some old browser such as IOS/MAC-Safari 7 and above, Chrome 30 and above will still work
  • The browser used should be  dedicated to the user. That is sharing your browser with other users may remove all of your offline-cached modules and data
  • Users should not on any occasion clear their browsers cache/offline data; especially if there are pending transactions yet to be synchronized
  • For privacy and safety of information stored offline, DO NOT use a PUBLIC computer or shared computer  to access your erprev account

 

HOW PARTLY WORKING OFFLINE WORKS:

  • After the user enables the functionality from his/her user settings , the user should logout and relogin
  • When ever the user successfully logs-in, all needed offline modules and data are saved/updated on the users browser.
  • If  network goes away while a user is logged on, the user can still access and use the offline modules and data
  • When network returns, all pending transactions that occured offline are synced

HOW STARTING OFFLINE WORKS:

  • If there is no network connection at all and the user opens his/her browser and enters the login page
  • The user provides his login userid and password with which his offline home-page is decoded and opened
  • From there the user can access offline modules that where saved on his browser and use only those modules  until network is available
  • When network returns, all pending transactions that occured offline are synced

  • View registered  customers via Customer selector during Invoice/Quotation/Receipt writing
  • View available items in stock during Invoice/Quotation writing
  • Write and Print Invoice
  • Write and Print Quotation
  • Write and Print Receipts
  • Register Expenditure
  • Register Bank Lodgements
  • Register Bank Withdrawals
  • Write Payment Vouchers
  • Make single/bulk Requisitions
  • and others that will be implemented with time
